Users can sign up through our website by providing basic personal information and specifying their mentorship needs.
Simply click on the register button from home, and click the on register as mentor button.
Mentors must be currently enrolled in or recent graduates of a university, and have a genuine desire to help prospective students.
Yes, recent graduates can offer valuable insights into the admissions process and university life. We welcome applications from individuals who have graduated within the last two years.
Currently, mentorship sessions are a fixed price of $30/hour but price might vary between $25 to $40 per hour, based on the mentor’s university and location.
We accept major credit cards, PayPal, and other online payment methods.
Once registered as a mentor, you can connect your payout account by navigating to your dashboard and selecting ‘Stripe Account’. Follow the on-screen instructions to link your Stripe account.
Creating a Stripe account is easy and free. You can sign up directly through the EarlyOn Meetings Inc. platform during the payout account setup process.
Payouts are processed weekly. You’ll receive payment for all completed sessions within the past week directly into your linked Stripe account.
Payment rates are currently fixed for $30 per hour, but might change in the future to range from $30 to $50 per hour, based on factors such as your university, area of expertise, and location.
Mentors can set their availability in their dashboard. When a mentee books a session matching your availability, you’ll receive a notification to confirm the session.
Expect to receive personalized advice, insights into the university admissions process, and answers to any specific questions you have.
You cannot manually record any mentorship sessions.
If you must cancel, please do so at least 24 hours in advance through the platform. This allows the mentee to reschedule or find another mentor.
Rejecting due to schedule conflicts has no negative effects on your account. However, frequent rejections might subject the account to be paused.
